The Center hosts a Leadership Development Program designed to build tomorrow’s leaders in politics, community organizations and state appointed boards and commissions.
The training focuses on:
• How to run a campaign
• Fundraising
• Get out the Vote techniques
• Overview of public offices and positions
Additionally, the Center has a strong focus on involving the Hispanic community in voting and the political process in general. We host voter registration drives, information and referral services for voting information and much more. Please check the calendar of events for upcoming activities.
To volunteer for our next voter registration drive, please contact Deisy Madrigal at (616) 742-0200 or dmadrigal@hispanic-center.org.
