Tobacco Survey

Help us understand cigarette smoking and other tobacco use behavior among Latinos in Michigan by taking the survey.

Why You Should Take This Survey

If you are Latino, you should participate in our smoking survey because it helps inform public health efforts, tailor interventions to specific communities, address disparities, and ultimately reduce the prevalence of smoking and its associated health risks in the Latino population.

Public Health Research

Smoking surveys provide valuable data that researchers use to study smoking habits and trends within specific populations. This information helps public health officials and researchers understand the prevalence of smoking, its impact on various communities, and the effectiveness of anti-smoking campaigns.

Health Disparities

Different ethnic and racial groups may have unique smoking patterns and health outcomes related to smoking. By participating in surveys, Latinos can contribute to the identification of health disparities and inform targeted interventions to reduce smoking-related health risks in their communities.

Data Accuracy

For research to be comprehensive and representative, it is crucial that a diverse range of individuals, including Latinos, participate. Accurate data is vital for drawing meaningful conclusions and crafting effective interventions. The information collected can help policymakers make informed decisions about regulations.
