 Job Description Start your career with ADVENTURE CREDIT UNION! Adventure Credit Union has been providing financial services to their members for over 80 years and are continuing to grow to meet their members changing needs. We currently are looking to add a full time Lobby Ambassador to our Corporate Branch team! The primary purpose of this position is to be an ambassador for the lobby and visitors of the Corporate Office. To greet all members, visitors and provide exceptional service both internally and externally. To handle a wide range of administrative duties as assigned. Positively supports Adventure Credit Union’s brand and promotes a service culture consistent with the credit unions’ mission, vision, core values, and our goal of being a Trusted Financial Guide. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Works to create a flawless experience with any visitor entering our Corporate Office, putting the individual first and foremost with everything that is done.  Manages all lobby traffic, identifies visitor’s needs through conversation and provides guidance.
  • Monitors visitor sign-in process and visitor badge inventory.  Ensures all visitors are directed or escorted to the appropriate areas and they sign out and return their badge when they leave the building.
  • Ensures doors are opened in a timely manner at the beginning of business and properly locked and secure at close of business.
  • Constantly monitors lobby and is aware of security procedures. Notifies management in the event of suspicious activity.
  • Handles all incoming and outgoing mail and parcel delivery to the Welcome Center. Delivers UPS/FedEx and Indirect Lending Contracts to appropriate individuals.
  • Processes USPS Return mail accurately and timely to capture correct addresses.
  • Develops and maintains relations with vendors and merchants to ensure strong communication and service.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of our core system to be able to post daily mail transactions, answer basic questions, concerns or requests for assistance with our members.
  • Assists Facilities Coordinator with supply inventory, monitoring and ordering of office supplies, ensuring requested supplies are cost-effective and necessary.
  • Assists Facilities Coordinator on new business card orders for the appropriate staff members.
  • Maintains, cleans and stocks the Coffee Bar for visitors.
  • Assists with imaging or other assigned branch or operational tasks as appropriate.
  • Assists with submitting reports to the board of directors as needed.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality to ensure all member information is protected and secure.
  • Will be a Notary Public.
  • Acts and assists as a guide for the lobby member traffic to introduce them to the ITM.
  • Acts as a Membership Officer and maintains and monitors all reports regarding new membership accounts, including completion of the Membership Officer Approval slip.
  • Conduct files maintenance and reviews on a daily basis.
  • Assists the Facilities Coordinator with Vendor Due Diligence, employee support and project assistance.
  • Responds to all member inquiries through the credit union’s Chat and Text system in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Attends training and department meetings as necessary to maintain a working knowledge of all credit union products in order to educate members.
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in an administrative role or customer service role.
  • A good attitude and professional, flexible and courteous personality conducive to dealing with co-workers and members.
  • Excellent listening, clear verbal, and professional written communication skills.
  • Good office equipment, 10-key and computer skills, including e-mail and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to be bonded.
